In May 2023, we hosted a Gender Sensitive Extension Services Workshop in collaboration with the NCC Food, Agriculture and Natural Resources sub-Sector. The workshop was attended by thirty-seven NCC extension officers, to sensitize them on topics of gender equality in the delivery of extension services. Download The Book

In February 2023, we held a Gender, Urban Agriculture and Food System training for urban farmers in Nairobi County. This was followed by a NEFSALF meeting where members were updated on recent events, upcoming plans, and urban farmers in action were celebrated. Download The Book

The most recent NEFSALF meeting took place on 15th September 2022 at the Desmond Tutu Conference Centre. The programme included the launch of the Women’s Spaces Project, presentations on training in urban agriculture and the food system, the Food System Strategy of the Nairobi City County (NCC) and reports from farmers in action.
